Born on March 15, 1980, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, Diane was the daughter of John D. Sutton and Kimberly S. Ifft. Throughout her life, she was known for placing the needs of others before her own, earning the admiration of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Diane was a faithful member of North Washington Presbyterian Church, where her faith and caring nature were reflected in the way she lived each day. She also dedicated her professional life to serving others as a medical assistant with ACMH, a role that perfectly matched her compassionate heart and desire to help people through both joyful and difficult moments.

Whether caring for patients, supporting coworkers, or lending a helping hand in her community, Diane approached every interaction with kindness, empathy, and genuine concern. Those who worked alongside her remember a dedicated healthcare professional who consistently went above and beyond to make others feel cared for and supported.

Outside of her career, Diane found her greatest happiness in spending time with the people she loved. She enjoyed bringing family and friends together, creating opportunities for laughter, fellowship, and lasting memories. Her home was often a place of warmth and welcome, reflecting her generous and giving personality.

One of Diane’s greatest joys was her love for animals, particularly her beloved cats. Affectionately known by many as the “Crazy Cat Lady,” she embraced the nickname with pride. Diane is lovingly remembered by her mother, Kim Ifft (Dayton Strawser) of West Sunbury; her father, John Sutton (Tracy Theiss) of Hilliards; her sister, Lindsey Spencer (James Caldwell) of Texas; her niece and nephew, Lexis and Dalton; her two stepsons, Drake King and Shane (Alexis) King, along with their families; her maternal uncle, Carl (Donna) Ifft; her maternal aunt, Karen Caldwell (Jim Taucher); her paternal uncle, Jeff (Lisa) Sutton; her paternal aunt, Tammy Sutton; numerous cousins; and her treasured feline companions, who brought her endless joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony King.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Diane’s life during a graveside memorial service at noon on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at West Sunbury Union Cemetery on Halston Road in West Sunbury, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. The service will be led by Mrs. Bev Bishop, Anthony’s godmother.

As loved ones prepare to say their final goodbyes, they do so with gratitude for a life marked by compassion, service, and unconditional love. Diane’s legacy will continue through the countless people she helped, the friendships she nurtured, and the family who will forever cherish her memory.
